if you’re talking about the campaign video in which he comments on ‘gays being allowed to openly serve in the military but young children can’t celebrate christmas’ —- then i think its absolutely frightening. i truly don’t see much difference between rick perry and fred phelps. i guess the reason why perry is more tolerated is because he’s all dressed up like a ‘normal’ guy. but you don’t have to peel back too many layers (if any) to reveal pure hate. it’s truly frightening to me that perry is even considered any kind of legitimate figure. also, this campaign video you’re talking about is just the tip if the iceberg. 5 minutes of research and you’ll find the most openly horrific hate from this guy. —- one more thing that comes to mind with this campaign video- is the concept of separation of church and state even something people consider anymore?
